Privacy notice

This notice explains how GlobalRanks handles information when you browse listings, submit a product, or purchase paid placement.

Public listing information

Submitted website URLs, product names, descriptions, selected countries, categories, and optional logo URLs are public. Paid placement totals, ranks, and filtered click counts are public as well. Do not put private information in a listing.

Payment information

Live checkout is provided by Stripe. Stripe processes payment and billing information under its own privacy terms. GlobalRanks stores order and payment references, amounts, status, and related information needed to confirm purchases, maintain the payment ledger, and handle refunds or disputes. Card details are not collected by this website’s listing form.

Filtered click measurement

When you follow a product’s tracked website link, the service uses a keyed hash of your IP address and browser user agent to limit repeated counting for that listing on that day. Raw IP addresses are not retained in the click database. Deduplication records are scheduled for deletion after 48 hours and cleaned up while the service is running. Cumulative click totals remain. These measurements are not a count of unique people.

Cookies and browser storage

The public visitor counter estimates browsers active in the last five minutes and visitors since midnight UTC. Visible public pages send a presence update every 30 seconds. We deduplicate these updates with a daily keyed hash of the IP address and browser user agent, without storing either raw value in the visitor database or adding a browser identifier or cookie. These records are scheduled for deletion after 48 hours, with hourly cleanup. Known bots and browsers sending Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are excluded. Shared networks, different browsers, and privacy settings affect the estimates. Only aggregate counts are public.

First-party growth measurement counts page views and claim-form opens by broad source, such as Google or a tagged launch link. A source label is kept in your tab’s session storage, without a visitor identifier. We store daily totals and associate the source label with successful checkouts for up to 90 days, with hourly cleanup. We do not store raw IP addresses, full referrer URLs, or search terms in this measurement. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable these events and source labels. Checkout and confirmed payment totals still come from operational payment records.

An essential session cookie is used for administrator authentication. Public browsing does not require an account. The application does not include third-party advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts.

External websites and logos

Clicking a listed website sends you to a third party with its own privacy practices. If an advertiser supplies a remote logo, your browser may request that image from the logo host, which receives connection information such as your IP address. The LinkedIn and X share buttons open those services in a new tab with the listing’s public page address filled in; they apply their own privacy practices.

Use, retention, and access

Information is used to operate listings, calculate ranks, prevent abuse, process payments, and respond to requests. Listing and payment records are retained as needed to operate the service, preserve financial records, and meet applicable obligations. Hosting and payment providers may process information to supply these services. Operational infrastructure may also create security logs.

Contact support@globalranks.ai to request a listing correction, report a privacy concern, or exercise rights that apply under your local law. The operator may need to verify your authority or identity before acting on a request. Records required for accounting, security, or legal obligations may need to be retained.
